Shane Grendahl is the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) Program Manager for all TOTE Services-managed vessels on the Gulf and East coasts. He oversees the Cape T and LMSR G MARAD vessels and their assigned port engineers.
Shane joined TOTE Services in 2018 as Port Engineer for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) vessels S/S Pacific Tracker and M/V Pacific Collector. After demonstrating strong leadership in both the MDA and MARAD ship management programs, he was promoted to his current role in 2025.
He began his maritime career as an electronic engineer and project manager, responsible for system design, regulatory drawing and test procedure submittals, on-site system installation, project oversight, and final system commissioning across the MARAD fleet.
Shane holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Central Washington University and a technical degree in industrial automation and process control from Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, Washington. He is based in Jacksonville, Florida and resides in nearby St. Augustine with his wife and two children.
