Phil Morrell has 43 years of maritime experience spanning shipbuilding, ship repair, technical management and terminal operations. In his role as Vice President of Projects, he serves as a key member of the TOTE Services senior leadership team.
In his previous role of Vice President of Marine Operations, Phil oversaw TOTE Alaska’s Orca-class vessels. Before that, he was in charge of Tacoma and Anchorage terminal operations and led the Orca class dual fuel (LNG) conversion, managing cost, schedule and budget, as well as technical execution. Before joining TOTE Services in 2002, he held a variety of positions with shipping companies in the United States and internationally.
Phil is a graduate of the University of Oregon and serves on the Washington State Board of Pilotage, the board of directors of the Washington State Emergency Rescue Tug Vessel, the board of directors of the Washington State Maritime Cooperative and the board of directors of the Chadux Network.
