Chris Clark is the Vice President of New Construction at TOTE Services, overseeing the company’s vessel construction and technical services portfolio. A naval architect from the University of Michigan, he brings over 20 years of maritime experience in both government and commercial shipbuilding.
Since joining TOTE Services in 2020, Clark has played a pivotal role in the National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV) program, leveraging his shipbuilding expertise and a unique acquisition approach to deliver one of the nation’s most successful government shipbuilding programs. He led the execution of the first two NSMV vessels and continues to provide strategic leadership for this program and other major shipbuilding initiatives.
Prior to joining TOTE Services, Clark led several new build programs for a major Jones Act tanker operator in the US, overseeing all aspects of vessel construction, including project management, vendor relations, regulatory compliance, quality control, and budget oversight. Earlier in his career, he supported vessel design and engineering at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA 05) in Washington, DC and Trinity Yachts, LLC in Gulfport, MS. Based in Philadelphia, Clark continues to drive innovation in shipbuilding and government contracting, with the goal of elevating and promoting our domestic shipbuilding industry to support the execution of complex maritime projects.
